2 Days early for a resurrection BB

We need an injection of new blood BB, folks with positive tales and useful information with a 'lift' in their stride and humour to share without fear of getting labelled ,

Facebook seems the place to go these days. There are different pages for different areas, ie Pemberton Standish, to name but two. There are a few other Wigan sites as well, some have folded for various reasons. Times change.

Nice to have you back. It's not been too bad on here recently, so perhaps the antagonists have gone to ground.

First Mate:

I prefer to chat here with people I feel comfy with, rather than venture into the unknown, meaning social media. I wouldn't join any of 'em. Facebook etc are the devil's playground in a lot of ways, although I'm sure it can serve a good purpose for the many rather than the few. Some of those "other" sites you mention probably closed for good reason.

As long as there are those of us who put on threads for fun, or serious conversation in a positive way, and we all ignore the negativity, this site will continue for loyal members.

I agree with Mollie, it's been much more pleasant here lately.

Lets face it Wigan World has an ageing membership, many of who are set in their ways. What they wouldn't dream of saying when younger,
they do now. I'm not a lover of FB, but that's where people gather on various pages to chat. Sometimes not so friendly chat. Much like here,
but a younger set. I think a lot of members here have probably migrated to Facebook. Just like BBiker. Like I said times change, along with technology

SD is easily the biggest problem on here,he is the one who should be banned, he just picks on certain people, and posts nothing of interest.

You probably haven't noticed but I only pick on the people who pick, or have picked on me. Pay a bit more attention and you will see it for yourself
